Enables reliable conversion between common Chinese and global coordinate systems and accurate distance calculations to remove mapping offsets and ensure spatial data interoperability.

  • Coordinate system conversion: bidirectional transforms among WGS84, GCJ02, BD09, and BD09MC for point data and GeoDataFrames.
  • Vectorized distance computation: compute spherical distances in meters for single pairs or entire OD tables.
  • GeoDataFrame & shapefile support: bulk transform geometries, convert shapefiles between coordinate systems, and save results for mapping or analysis.
