What problem does it solve?

This Skill syncs existing steering documents from the local workspace (.gemini/steering/) to the knowledge base, adding a Context section for searchability and session recovery. It is intended for situations where steering docs already exist and need to be kept in sync with the knowledge base.

  • Automatic syncing of steering Markdown files from .gemini/steering/ to ~/.gemini/knowledge/steering/{workspace-name}/
  • Adds a Context section in the knowledge base copy to support session recovery and document history

Quick Start

Use the Gemini CLI to sync steering documents from your current workspace:

  • gemini "Sync steering documents"
  • gemini "Sync my steering docs to knowledge base"
