What problem does it solve?
This Skill enables precise, single-step forward movement for agents within a simulated environment, ensuring predictable navigation and providing detailed feedback on the outcome.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Atomic Forward Movement: Executes exactly one forward step relative to the agent's current facing direction.
- Alignment & Snapping: Automatically aligns the agent to block centers and cardinal yaw before movement, and snaps to the block center after movement.
- Collision & Fall Detection: Includes checks for collisions and falls, reporting detailed reasons and positions.
- Use Case: An agent needs to cross a single block gap. This skill can be called to attempt the move, with the system then checking if the agent successfully landed or encountered an obstacle.
