What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides a structured approach to handling Hytale server events within plugins, enabling reliable, observable, and scalable event-driven behavior.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • General Event Bus: Register, prioritize, and route global server events (player actions, world changes, assets) to handlers.
  • ECS Event System: Define and dispatch entity- and world-scoped events with cancellable and non-cancellable flows.
  • Async & Custom Events: Create and manage asynchronous events and bespoke event types with proper lifecycle and cancellation semantics.

Quick Start

Register a listener for PlayerConnectEvent to log new connections and another for a simple world event to initialize state when a world loads.
