Editing tracker metadata can be error-prone and time-consuming when users need to rename trackers or adjust descriptions. This skill provides a controlled way to update display names and tracker descriptions in frontmatter and the main header, preserving the tracker structure.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Update tracker display name (display name only, not directory) and/or description.
• Update the frontmatter's description while preserving the created date and other fields; updated date is refreshed.
• Update the tracker header to reflect new name and/or description, maintaining the Tracker → Phase → Track → Task hierarchy across edits.

Quick Start

Use the edit-tracker my-app --name="New App" --description="Updated tracker description" to apply changes.
