This skill enables teams to add new sequential phases to an existing tracker, ensuring the Phase structure, Tasks alignment, and overview metadata stay consistent.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Phase insertion: Adds a new phase to the Phases list with a defined name and position.
• Task alignment: Creates a matching Phase section in Tasks and maintains track phase coverage across all tracks.
• Tracker integrity: Validates tracker existence, renumbers subsequent phases when inserting in the middle, and updates trackers accordingly.
• Integration: Works with /add-task to populate tasks in the new phase and supports description and positioning flags (--name, --position, --after, --before).

Quick Start

Use the add-phase skill to insert a new phase named "Deployment" at the end of an existing tracker: /add-phase my-app --name="Deployment"
