What problem does it solve?

This Skill eliminates the manual burden of importing large CSV datasets for TaskActivity and Expense records, reducing errors and saving time during onboarding, migrations, or periodic data refreshes.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Template-driven Import: Validates and imports data from TaskActivity and Expense CSV templates (e.g., docs/taskactivity-import-template.csv, docs/expense-import-template.csv) into the system.
  • Pre-Import Validation: Checks headers, date formats (YYYY-MM-DD), numeric fields, and required columns before importing.
  • Authenticated Import Flow: Uses Import-CsvData.ps1 with a JWT token to securely push data to backend endpoints and log results.
  • Use Case: Admins perform scheduled data loads or one-off imports of dozens to thousands of records with a single command.

Quick Start

Run the Import-CsvData.ps1 script with a path to your CSV file and a valid JWT token to start the import.
