How do the spec-kit skills work in practice?▼
Spec-kit skills require a project with a .specify/ directory. You run speckit-specify to create a feature specification, speckit-clarify to resolve ambiguities, speckit-plan for design artifacts, speckit-tasks for ordered tasks, speckit-analyze for consistency checks, and speckit-implement to execute the plan.
What prerequisites or dependencies do these skills have?▼
Spec-kit skills require an existing spec-kit project structure with a .specify/ directory. Repository tooling skills assume TypeScript projects using Husky, lint-staged, Prettier, dependency-cruiser, or @total-typescript/shoehorn. Several skills are user-invocable only, with model invocation explicitly disabled.

Yes. bmad-edit-prd, bmad-create-prd, bmad-validate-prd, and bmad-create-architecture are deprecated and consolidated into bmad-prd and bmad-architecture respectively. The deprecated-shim skill is consolidated into bmad-foo. All deprecated skills are scheduled for removal in v7.
