What problem does it solve?
This Skill streamlines the creation and printing of lab labels for tubes, boxes, plates, and other labware, eliminating manual handwriting and layout guesswork.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Label customization: print text, subtext, and optional Code128 barcodes on standard 2" x 1" labels or rotated tube labels.
- Style flexibility: choose standard flat labels or tube-oriented labels optimized for wrapping around 1.5 mL tubes.
- Batch printing and previews: support for multiple copies and a dry-run preview by printing raw ZPL when needed.
- From file / raw ZPL: send either a prebuilt ZPL snippet or a complete ZPL script to the printer.
Quick Start
Run the print_label.py script to compose ZPL and print labels on the Zebra ZD411.
