What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables game designers to author, validate, and export structured worldmap data for CRPG engines. It automates the creation of location definitions, routes, regions, and travel events into standardized .worldmap.json files, reducing manual data entry and inconsistencies.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Worldmap data generation: Create data/world/*.worldmap.json files with defined locations, routes, regions, terrain, and interior layouts.
  • Structured data modeling: Enforce a consistent schema (worldmap_schema.json) for locations, routes, regions, and travel events.
  • Digitized/Reference workflows: Add locations from digitized terrain maps or reference images while preserving existing geography, or build maps from scratch using structured inputs.

Quick Start

Use the world-builder skill to generate a new worldmap for the CRPG Engine by providing a basic list of locations and connections or by importing a digitized map and reference image.
