SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Product teams spend hours each week manually pulling metrics from dashboards, experiments, and feedback sources to build a weekly status update. This Skill automates that synthesis by scanning your Amplitude instance and producing a shareable, narrative weekly briefing. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Automated weekly synthesis: Queries dashboards, charts, experiments, feedback, and deployments across your Amplitude instance to surface the most important week-over-week trends. - Root cause analysis: Investigates the top findings by segmenting anomalies and connecting them to deployments or experiments, with confidence scoring to filter out noise. - Persona-calibrated briefing: Adapts language and framing for executives, PMs, analysts, growth, or engineering audiences, ending with concrete next-week priorities. - Use Case: On Monday morning, ask for your weekly review and receive a 500-700 word memo covering metric inflections, experiment results, and a prioritized action list you can forward to leadership. ## Quick Start Ask your AI assistant to give you a weekly summary of what happened in your Amplitude project over the past 7 days.

FAQPage Schema
How do I get a weekly summary of my Amplitude data?▼

Ask your AI assistant for a weekly review or week-in-review of your Amplitude project. The skill scans your dashboards, charts, experiments, and feedback from the last 7 days and delivers a narrative briefing with trends and priorities.

What data sources does an Amplitude weekly briefing include?▼

It pulls from dashboards and charts queried at weekly granularity, experiments that concluded or hit significance, customer feedback themes, and deployment history. It compares the current week against a trailing 4-week baseline.

Can the weekly brief handle a partial week of data?▼

Yes. When the current week is incomplete, it compares pace (for example, through-Thursday this week versus through-Thursday last week) rather than raw totals, and explicitly notes the partial status in the briefing.

How does the briefing avoid false positives in weekly metrics?▼

It checks for partial-week artifacts, holiday and seasonal effects, single-day spikes inflating weekly totals, and rolling-window dips. Each finding receives a confidence score, and anything below 0.6 is dropped.

What if my Amplitude project has no dashboards set up?▼

The skill falls back to broad searches for any available charts or events and builds context from whatever exists. It will note the limited setup and suggest creating a key metrics dashboard.
