What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables you to expose your Kinetic Platform workflows as custom RESTful APIs (WebAPIs) and to trigger workflows automatically based on platform events (Webhooks), bridging the gap between your platform and external systems or internal event-driven processes.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • WebAPIs: Define custom REST endpoints backed by workflows, allowing external systems or frontend applications to invoke platform logic. Supports synchronous operations with a timeout and asynchronous patterns via callbacks.
  • Webhooks: Configure workflows to automatically execute in response to platform events like form submissions, user creation, or record updates.
  • Use Case: Integrate a third-party CRM by exposing a WebAPI that creates a Kinetic Platform record when called, and use a webhook to notify an external system when a Kinetic Platform approval is completed.

Quick Start

Create a WebAPI that accepts a POST request and triggers the 'Process External Data' workflow.
