What problem does it solve?

This skill helps teams kick off a new feature by ensuring the workspace is clean, the AI agent is warmed for productive interaction, and a draft PR workflow is ready for quick review.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • VCS check: Detects whether to use jj or git and validates a clean status.
  • Reset to base branch: Switches to the base branch (dev or master for releases) and pulls latest changes.
  • Create a fresh feature branch: Establishes a standardized feature/fix branch name.
  • Warm the agent: Invokes the warm-agent workflow to focus on the current feature area.
  • Implement the feature: Makes and tests changes as needed.
  • Create draft PR: Initiates a draft PR workflow so changes can be reviewed.
