Freeform collab sessions eliminate strict workflows by enabling teams to freely generate diagrams, documents, and wireframes during collaboration in Mermaid Collab.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Freeform content creation: design diagrams, draft documents, and sketch wireframes without enforcing a process.
  • Rapid ideation and prototyping: capture concepts quickly and iterate in real-time with teammates.
  • Easy transition to structured workflows: convert to structured mode when work items and blueprints are needed.
  • Access to the Collab UI: the Mermaid Collab interface is available at http://localhost:3737 for live editing and viewing.

Quick Start

Start a vibe session by issuing /collab, then create artifacts using create_diagram, create_document, or create_wireframe. When finished, invoke /collab-cleanup to archive or delete the session.
