What problem does it solve?

Task validation ensures upfront that ideas are decomposed into well-scoped, verifiable tasks that align with the concept_summary and backlog, reducing scope creep and miscommunication.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Validates each task against the canonical inputs: concept_summary.md, latest/features_backlog.md, latest/tasks.md, and baseline inputs to ensure coverage and alignment.
  • Generates per-idea run reports and updates latest validator outputs, with optional patching of tasks when allowed by config.
  • Produces run logs and updates the idea manifest to support traceability and governance.

Quick Start

Provide IDEA_ID to run the validator and generate a validation report.
