What problem does it solve?
This Skill enables your InterSystems IRIS productions to seamlessly send and receive data via HTTP, bridging the gap between your internal systems and external web services.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Inbound HTTP Listener: Set up a custom port to receive HTTP requests directly into your production.
- Outbound HTTP Client: Make HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, etc.) to external APIs and web services.
- Use Case: Automatically process incoming webhook notifications from a third-party service by configuring an inbound HTTP adapter, or regularly poll an external API for updated data using an outbound adapter.
Quick Start
Configure the HTTP inbound adapter to listen on port 8080 for incoming requests.
