What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables terminal-based Spotify control via the uni CLI, allowing quick playback, search, and playlist management without switching apps.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Authentication: Authenticate via OAuth PKCE with a default embedded app.
  • Now Playing & Search: View what's playing, browse and search tracks, artists, and albums.
  • Playback & Queue: Play, pause, skip, add to queue, adjust volume. Playback controls require Spotify Premium.
  • Playlists & Devices: List and open playlists; manage devices.

Quick Start

Authenticate with uni spotify auth to begin using Spotify from the terminal. Then check status with uni spotify auth --status. See now playing with uni spotify now. Search for tracks with uni spotify search "Bohemian Rhapsody". Control playback with uni spotify play, pause, next, and view playlists with uni spotify playlists.
