SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? After generating a knowledge graph of a codebase, developers need a way to explore it visually instead of reading raw JSON. This Skill starts the Understand Anything dashboard so you can browse the graph in your browser. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Graph Visualization: Serves an interactive web dashboard that renders the knowledge-graph.json produced by the /understand analysis. - Fast Prebuilt Viewer: Downloads a version-pinned, self-contained viewer from GitHub releases, avoiding local installs and builds when available. - Fallback Dev Server: Falls back to installing dependencies with pnpm and running a Vite dev server pointed at the project's graph directory. - Use Case: After running /understand on a legacy repository, launch the dashboard to visually trace module dependencies and share the tokenized URL with a teammate. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to start the Understand Anything dashboard for the current project so you can explore its knowledge graph in the browser.

FAQPage Schema
How do I visualize a codebase knowledge graph in the browser?▼

Run the understand-dashboard skill after generating a knowledge graph with /understand. It starts a local server and prints a tokenized URL like http://127.0.0.1:<PORT>?token=<TOKEN> that opens the interactive graph view.

What do I do if no knowledge graph is found?▼

The dashboard requires a knowledge-graph.json file in the project's .ua or .understand-anything directory. If it is missing, run /understand first to analyze the project and generate the graph.

Why does the dashboard show an Access Token Required gate?▼

The server protects graph data with a token embedded in the URL. Copy the full URL including the ?token= parameter from the server output; opening the bare address without the token triggers the access gate.

Does the dashboard work without installing dependencies?▼

Yes, the fast path downloads a self-contained, version-pinned viewer tarball from the GitHub release and runs it via npx. Only if that fails does it fall back to pnpm install and a Vite dev server.

What happens if port 5173 is already in use?▼

Both the prebuilt viewer and the Vite dev server automatically pick the next available port. Check the server output for the actual URL and token to use.
