What problem does it solve?
This Skill provides a structured method to estimate Use Case Points for planned software development work using Onshore's v4.0 Complete Coverage framework, enabling more accurate planning, budgeting, and scoping.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Calculate Unadjusted Actor Weight (UAW) and Unadjusted Use Case Weight (UUCW) from input sources (Azure DevOps, Git repositories, or mixed sources).
- Compute Technical Complexity Factor (TCF) and Environmental Complexity Factor (ECF) from factor ratings.
- Generate a comprehensive UUCP and final UCP score with SAF adjustments and framework leverage, plus estimated effort hours.
Quick Start
Run a minimal calculation with the included scripts:
- python scripts/calculate_ucp.py --uaw 24 --uucw 562.4 --tcf 1.40 --ecf 0.86 --framework-leverage 0.7
