Manually following citations can lead to an overwhelming "citation explosion" of irrelevant papers. This skill intelligently filters and deduplicates citations to find only the most relevant related work, saving you from information overload.

  • Smart Traversal: Explores both backward (references) and forward (citing papers) citations using Semantic Scholar.
  • Relevance Filtering: Scores citations based on context, keywords, and intent to prioritize the most pertinent papers.
  • Automatic Deduplication: Prevents re-processing of already reviewed papers, ensuring efficiency.
  • Use Case: After identifying a highly relevant paper, ask Claude to "find papers that cite this one, and also its key references." This skill will then intelligently explore the citation network, presenting you with a curated list of related research without overwhelming you with irrelevant results.
