What problem does it solve?

threedee-parametric enables rapid creation and iterative modification of 3D parametric models inside the threedee design environment, reducing boilerplate scripting and accelerating design exploration.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Live-updating 3D viewport for parametric modeling with AI assistance.
  • Automatic discovery of user models from user/models and easy editing, saving, and exporting.
  • Support for creating and modifying objects through parameter adjustments (dimensions, colors, materials) and a range of primitives (boxes, spheres, cylinders, torus knots).
  • In-browser exports to STL, OBJ, GLTF/GLB and other formats, with built-in export utilities.

Quick Start

To start, add a new JavaScript model in user/models (e.g., user/models/my-model.js) and save. The page will hot-reload; select your model from the MODEL dropdown, and use the EXPORT panel to save in the desired format.
