SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve? Long voice-dictated rambles transfer rich context, but the model silently fills gaps, resolves vague phrases, and keeps reversed ideas as facts, then builds on those confident misreadings. This Skill forces the agent to act on nothing until it echoes back a structured audit of everything it absorbed, so you correct three lines instead of debugging an hour of generated work. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Echo brief: Produces a five-section audit (Mission, Locked decisions, Open questions, Ledger of flips and parked tangents, and the model's own Inferred/Guessed additions) with strict compression rules. - Optional interview: Asks up to five targeted follow-up questions, one at a time, only about items flagged as Open or Guessed. - Capture mode: Listens silently across multiple messages during a multi-part ramble and delivers the echo only when you say "done". - Use Case: You dictate ten minutes of messy product thinking with mid-sentence reversals; the agent replies with a scannable brief separating your actual words from its guesses, you fix two wrong guesses, approve, and choose where the brief is saved. ## Quick Start Dictate or paste a long messy ramble starting with "let me think out loud" and ask the agent to echo back what it understood before doing anything.

FAQPage Schema
How do I stop an AI agent from misunderstanding my voice dictation?▼

Require the agent to produce an echo brief before acting: a structured audit of your mission, locked decisions, open questions, and reversals, with the model's own inferences and guesses listed separately. You correct the audit first, so the agent never builds on a confident misreading.

What is the difference between an echo audit and clarifying questions?▼

Clarifying questions only surface what the model doubts, while confident misreadings never feel uncertain and never become questions. The echo audits the entire transfer and exposes every inference, and you verify by recognition rather than by producing answers.

Can I ramble across multiple messages before getting the summary?▼

Yes, capture mode supports multi-message rambles. Invoke the skill first, and the agent replies only with a minimal listening line until you say "done", "echo", or an equivalent, then it delivers the full echo brief.

When should I not use the thinking-out-loud echo workflow?▼

Skip it for short clear requests, direct questions needing direct answers, and already-structured text like pasted specs. It is also not a transcription tool: it reconstructs meaning rather than preserving your exact words.

Does the skill save my approved brief automatically?▼

No, it never persists anything unprompted. After you approve the echo, it offers exactly three options: append to CLAUDE.md, save to a dated file under docs/rambles/, or keep it in-conversation only.
