What problem does it solve?
Provide transparent tracking and safe control of turn budgets for active Team-Shinchan workflows so agents cannot exceed allocated turn limits or burn tokens unexpectedly.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Status Reporting: Read the active WORKFLOW_STATE.yaml and work-tracker to show current total and phase usage, session turns, and status indicators (On Track / WARNING / EXCEEDED).
- Budget Configuration: Set total or phase turn budgets and ensure a budget section is created if missing.
- Counter Management: Reset used_total and/or used_phase counters when advancing phases or restarting workflows.
- Use Case: Before a high-cost planning session, inspect the budget status and increase the phase budget to avoid automatic enforcement stoppages during development.
Quick Start
Use the /team-shinchan:budget command to display the active workflow's budget status or to set and reset total and phase counters.
