What problem does it solve?

The swipe-file generator analyzes high-performing content from URLs to study structure, patterns, and ideas, and compiles a living swipe file that informs content creation.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Ingests URLs from /swipe-file/swipe-file-sources.md and identifies new items by comparing against /swipe-file/.digested-urls.json.
  • Fetches content using WebFetch (and uses the FxTwitter API for Twitter/X content) and stores results for analysis.
  • Deconstructs content with a dedicated subagent at ./subagents/content-deconstructor.md and appends structured analyses to /swipe-file/swipe-file.md.
  • Regenerates a Table of Contents and maintains a searchable, updated repository of patterns, hooks, and templates.

Quick Start

Place your source URLs in /swipe-file/swipe-file-sources.md, then run the swipe-file workflow to process new content and append analyses to /swipe-file/swipe-file.md.
