This skill provides a strategic gate to analyze and refine a task list before any work begins, ensuring a clear plan that can be approved by humans.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Strategic analysis: evaluates the task list for complexity, dependencies, parallelization opportunities, and safe incremental progression.
- Plan refinement with approval: proposes a refined wave-based execution plan and requires explicit human sign-off before proceeding to Mode 2.
- Path preservation & provenance: derives input and planning folder paths and preserves them for Mode 2 execution to maintain continuity.
- Documentation-ready output: prepares a plan narrative and artifacts for review and handoff.
Quick Start
To begin Mode 1 planning, run the Start-Phase plan command with the path to your task list. Example: /start-phase plan ./job-queue/prototype-build/tasks.md The system will read the task list, derive planning folders, and present a refined plan for approval.
