What problem does it solve?
Helps users who have many local agent skills and cannot tell which are duplicates, imported plugins, or stale copies by building a filesystem-backed inventory based on real SKILL.md frontmatter and local configs.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Filesystem-backed inventory: Recursively discovers skill directories that contain SKILL.md and reads frontmatter for accurate metadata.
- Duplicate detection and prioritization: Groups skills by name, ranks candidates by source priority, and recommends which copy to keep.
- Cross-root scanning and suspicious flags: Compares Codex, agents, and plugin roots, honors skills.config entries and frontmatter disable flags, and highlights plugin-import or backup-like entries.
- Outputs: Generates human-readable Markdown reports and machine-readable JSON suitable for audits and change planning.

Run the bundled scan.js in this skill directory to produce a markdown inventory and duplicate report.
