What problem does it solve?
This Skill automatically validates and normalizes skill directories to ensure consistent metadata, proper naming, and validation of required files, reducing setup errors and drift across a repo.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Metadata validation: Ensures every skill has SKILL.md frontmatter with name and description.
- Naming and placeholders: Checks directory-name against the frontmatter name and enforces placeholder consistency with <project-name>.
- Auto-fix support: Offers a --fix mode to automatically correct issues where safe to do so.
- Optional checks: Warns when agents/openai.yaml is missing to surface configuration gaps.

Run the lint-skills.sh script to validate and auto-fix all skills in the repository.
