This Skill automates the creation of standardized skill-definition files by transforming predefined patterns into fully formed SKILL.md entries, reducing manual drafting time.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Load a skill pattern from patterns/skills/{skill-id}.json and extract metadata, frontmatter, and sections.
- Apply user customizations to frontmatter, knowledge references, and MCP tool references.
- Render a complete Markdown Skill entry ready for integration into a target project.
- Create the skill directory structure {.cursor/skills/{skill-name}/} with SKILL.md and optional references.
- Update repository READMEs or tooling to reflect new skill counts when added to a project.
Quick Start
Use the skill-generation workflow to generate a new skill from patterns/skills/{skill-id}.json and save it under the target project's .cursor/skills/{skill-name}/, then render and commit.
