What problem does it solve?

This skill automates exporting Claude Code sessions by uploading transcripts to GitHub Gist.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Automated session sharing: Uploads the current project session transcript to GitHub Gist and adds it to the project's gist index.
  • Per-project gist tracking: Maintains an up-to-date gist reference list for auditability and collaboration.
  • Use Case: When teammates want a quick shareable link for a session discussion or debugging walkthrough.

Quick Start

Step 1: Ensure the claude-code-transcripts tool is installed and GitHub authentication is configured. Step 2: From within the project directory, run the share-transcript command to generate a gist for the current session. Step 3: Provide a concise description for the session when prompted and review the generated preview and gist URL. Then update the gist index in aidocs/gist-list.md as needed.
