What problem does it solve?

Provides a repeatable, secure onboarding flow that installs the Earl CLI and configures agent platforms so agents call vetted templates instead of raw CLI tools, preventing accidental credential exposure and unsafe tool use.

• Automated Installation: Detects OS environment and installs Earl, with fallbacks to the project install script when prerequisites are missing.
• Immediate Demo: Imports and runs a no-auth demo template so the user sees a working example right away.
• Agent Integration: Detects Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf configurations and merges an Earl MCP server into their MCP JSON or instructs manual application when necessary.
• Onboarding & Migration: Writes CLAUDE.md breadcrumbs, offers migration from curl/gh/stripe-cli calls, and can create new Earl templates or invoke migration helpers.
• Security Controls: Emphasizes OS keychain secrets, supports OAuth modes appropriate to agents, and provides an optional lockdown step to prevent bypassing Earl.
