Segment definitions across the Datalayer platform can be complex, scattered across multiple repos and services, making it hard to understand, debug, and reuse them in reports and dashboards.

- Understand how segments are defined across datalayerapp-v2 and datalayerapp-v2-function-code.
- Debug segment creation, rebuild, and reporting flows, including rule groups, condition types, and query generation.
- Preview and validate segment queries, apply segments to reports (up to four per report), and monitor real-time updates via Pusher.
Quick Start
To explore a segment, ask the skill to explain its rule groups and resulting BigQuery queries. Validate a segment with the segment-testing endpoint, then check status in the Segments table and wait for real-time updates.
