What problem does it solve?

This skill provides structured, reliable data about YouTube channels, including video metadata and transcripts, to support rigorous research and curriculum design without relying on brittle scraping.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Fetch channel, playlist, and video metadata and produce channel-manifest.json and channel-overview.md for analysis and reporting.
  • Fetch transcripts for selected videos and store them as markdown files.
  • Filter results by keywords, date ranges, duration, and view counts to focus on relevant content.
