What problem does it solve?
This Skill allows agents to release claimed tasks back into the work queue, preventing stale claims and ensuring tasks are available for other agents when work is abandoned, blocked, or needs manual cleanup.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Release All Claims: Frees all tasks currently claimed by the worktree.
- Release Specific Task: Releases a single task identified by its slug.
- Expire Stale Claims: Removes claims that have exceeded their Time-To-Live (TTL) and automatically releases merged PR claims.
- Use Case: If you start working on a task but realize it's blocked by an external dependency, you can use
/release-tasks <slug>to return it to the queue instead of letting it sit unclaimed.
Quick Start
Use the release-tasks skill to return all tasks claimed by this worktree back to the queue.
