What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides frameworks and formulas for estimating the intrinsic value of a stock or company, helping users make informed investment decisions by moving beyond simple market prices.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Valuation Models: Supports Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Models (DDM), Comparable Multiples, and Residual Income models.
  • Assumption Analysis: Enables sensitivity analysis to understand how changes in key assumptions (like WACC or growth rates) impact valuation.
  • Use Case: A user wants to know if Apple stock is overvalued. They can use this Skill to build a DCF model, inputting Apple's projected free cash flows, WACC, and terminal growth rate to arrive at an intrinsic value estimate, which can then be compared to the current market price.

Quick Start

Use the quantitative-valuation skill to estimate the intrinsic value of a company using a two-stage DCF model with a terminal growth rate of 3%, a WACC of 10%, and projected free cash flows of $100M, $115M, $132.3M, $152.1M, and $174.9M for the next five years.
