What problem does it solve?

Reconstructs up-to-date project index files from scattered README YAML front matter so maintainers do not need to assemble summary tables by hand and risk stale or inconsistent indexes.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Rebuilds calculation and report index files by extracting metadata from each entry's README YAML front matter.
  • Writes Markdown index tables with consistent columns and uses file locking to avoid concurrent-write corruption.
  • Useful for refreshing indexes after batch edits, in CI checks that validate repository provenance, or recovering indexes after accidental changes.

Quick Start

Invoke the psi-rebuild-index skill to regenerate calc_db/index.md and reports/index.md by running the rebuild_index.py script located in the skill directory.
