What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps project leads prepare concise daily standups by automatically analyzing Linear issues, comparing commitments against actual progress, and surfacing deviations and questions for the team.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Phase 1: Context Gathering — selects the project and fetches relevant Linear issues and the current sprint context.
  • Phase 2: Yesterday's Commitment Analysis — checks yesterday's due issues, identifies blockers, and generates questions to ask the owner.
  • Phase 3: Today's Interactions Review — reviews upcoming meetings, owner assignments, and prep tasks.
  • Phase 4: Generate Prep Output — produces a copy-paste ready markdown prep sheet for distribution to the team. Use cases include project leads coordinating work in Linear MCP and needing a repeatable daily prep workflow.

Quick Start

Use the /project-daily-prep [project-name] command to generate today’s prep output for the specified Linear project.
