Structure a conference talk as a story rather than reading the paper: hook with the real-world problem, state the gap and question, explain the approach at the right altitude, present one to three key results on clean slides, and end with a single takeaway sentence plus contact or QR code.

Use the modern better poster format: a large central panel stating the single main finding in plain language, with method, results, and implications in side columns. Keep text minimal, use one hero figure, ensure readability from 1.5 meters, and add a QR code to the paper.

Plan roughly one slide per minute as a cap, so about 12 to 15 slides for a 15-minute slot. Rehearse to the exact time limit and prepare a hard fallback plan for skipping ahead if running short on time.

Slides should use at least 24 pt body text and 28 to 32 pt headers. Posters need legible body text around 24 to 32 pt equivalent at print scale, readable from about 1.5 meters, with a large prominent title.

Anticipate obvious questions about validation, generalizability, and comparison to baselines, and prepare backup slides with extra data. Repeat the question, answer concisely, and admit honestly when you do not know rather than bluffing.
