What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the conversion of existing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) from any format into the structured Specification-Driven Development (SDD) format, ensuring no information is lost and preparing it for the development pipeline.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Content Mapping: Analyzes external PRDs and maps their sections to the 12 standard SDD PRD sections.
  • Feature Extraction: Identifies and enumerates features (F1, F2, ...) with acceptance criteria from unstructured text.
  • Gap Identification: Highlights missing sections in the SDD format that need user input.
  • Use Case: You have a legacy PRD in a Word document. Use this Skill to import it, map its content, extract features, and generate a new PRD file ready for the /prd-review step.

Quick Start

Import the external PRD located at '~/documents/legacy_product_requirements.docx'.
