What problem does it solve?

This skill provides ready-to-use placeholder images for UI/UX design and frontend prototyping by downloading random images from Lorem Picsum as needed.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • On-demand image retrieval: Fetch single or multiple placeholder images at various resolutions for mockups, wireframes, and UI testing.
  • Flexible resolution & effects: Supports standard presets (--hd, --fhd, --2k, --4k, --5k) and custom --size, with optional grayscale and blur effects.
  • Use Case: When you need fresh visuals for a new UI concept, run the tool to download the required number of images and drop them into your assets directory for immediate use.

Quick Start

Run the placeholder-image script to download images. Example: ~/.claude/skills/placeholder-image/scripts/download.sh 3 --fhd --output ./assets
