  • Pipeline Selection: Automatically determines the best pipeline (e.g., survey, idea-brainstorm, systematic review) based on the user's stated goal.
  • Pipeline Locking: Creates a PIPELINE.lock.md file to fix the selected pipeline for the current run.
  • Checkpoint Management: Generates and updates checkpoint blocks in DECISIONS.md for auditable progress tracking and human approvals.
  • Use Case: When a user is unsure which of the available research workflows to use, this Skill can ask clarifying questions and then select and lock the arxiv-survey-latex pipeline, setting up the initial questions for the first checkpoint.
