The Open Sourceror Skill accelerates the packaging of Claude Code skills, agents, or collections for open-source sharing on GitHub, reducing friction from discovery to contribution.

  • Detects whether the source is a Skill (SKILL.md), an Agent (.md frontmatter with tools:), or a Mixed Collection, and guides repository structure, README, and license generation.
  • Generates ready-to-use documentation templates and streamlined git workflows to publish components to the open ecosystem.

Quick Start

Run the Open Sourceror Skill and choose either Standalone or Marketplace mode. Provide the source path to the component and select the target repository or toolkit. Follow prompts to generate the repository skeleton, README, LICENSE, and initial docs, then push changes to your GitHub repository.
