What problem does it solve?

Obsidian vault organization can become chaotic as notes accumulate across InBox and dashboard areas. This skill streamlines that process by routing notes into structured folders based on their frontmatter tags and keeping a clean, navigable vault.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • InBox routing: Move .md files from InBox into target folders (e.g., Bases, Blogs, Books, Businesses, Clippings, DailyNotes, Fun, Ideas, Knowledges, Locals, Logs, Reports, SampleCodes, Templates) based on tags in frontmatter.
  • Dashboard synchronization: Generate or update items in the Dashboard.md to reflect unprocessed tasks and turn them into individual notes under appropriate sections.
  • Git-driven workflow: Perform git pull, organize, and then git commit & push to maintain versioned history of the vault.

Quick Start

Run the Obsidian Organizer workflow: git pull; InBox整理 to move notes by frontmatter tags into folders; Dashboard整理 to convert dashboard items into files under the appropriate sections; finally git commit & push.
