What problem does it solve?

Cursor agents often require timely user input, and when the user is away from the IDE this skill bridges the gap by coordinating Slack-based escalation so work can proceed without blocking.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Slack DM pre-notification to prompt for a response and a visible timestamp
  • IDE integration via AskQuestion to surface the same query in the coding environment
  • Away-mode polling that reads Slack DM history and resumes the task when the user replies
  • Delivery of results back to the IDE and, if needed, into Slack threads for context
  • Secure configuration with a dedicated MCP server and environment variables

Quick Start
