What problem does it solve?

Automates updating Node.js dependencies across projects to reduce manual maintenance and drift.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Auto-detect outdated dependencies across a project or monorepo.
  • Minor/patch updates are auto-applied; major updates are prompted and applied upon approval.
  • Works with a non-interactive scan script to guide you through install, scan, and apply steps.

Quick Start

Run the update workflow on your Node project:

  • Install taze if needed (npm install -g taze or npx taze)
  • Execute ~/.agents/skills/node-deps/scripts/run-taze.sh to scan for updates
  • Review results and allow minor/patch updates to apply automatically; approve major updates when prompted
