What problem does it solve?

Access to NinjaOne agent environment variables is often required for context-aware automation, but scripts struggle to reliably read agent and organization data across platforms.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Read built-in environment variables such as NINJA_EXECUTING_PATH, NINJA_AGENT_VERSION_INSTALLED, NINJA_DATA_PATH, NINJA_AGENT_PASSWORD (not to be logged), NINJA_ORGANIZATION_NAME, and NINJA_AGENT_NODE_ID to tailor automation and improve observability.
  • Works cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux) for consistent scripting in multi-tenant environments.
  • Encourages best practices for security and logging by avoiding exposure of sensitive values and by using explicit variable reads.

Quick Start

Retrieve NinjaOne agent environment variables in your script to construct a device-context object.
