What problem does it solve?

This skill helps teams analyze MISRA-C 2023 and CERT-CPP violation reports and automate suppressions and PR workflows, reducing manual toil and maintaining compliance evidence.

  • Analyze violation reports to prioritize remediation and suppression needs.
  • Automatically apply predefined suppressions for common violations using the isir.py tool.

Quick Start

  1. Perform a dry-run to understand violations: ./isir.py -m <module> -c MISRA -d
  2. Apply predefined suppressions: ./isir.py -m <module> -c MISRA -sa
  3. Process remaining violations with targeted suppressions and the git workflow per the repository references.
