SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Walking into a meeting without context wastes time and weakens relationships. This Skill assembles a focused briefing by pulling everything you know about a person or organisation from your Obsidian vault and any connected tools, so you stop opening calls with "remind me where we got to". ## Core Features & Use Cases - Vault Context Gathering: Searches CRM contacts, organisations, initiatives, past meeting notes, and networks in your Obsidian vault for relevant history. - External Tool Integration: Optionally pulls deal status from CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive), recent email threads, chat mentions, and project tracker entries when connected via MCP. - Structured Brief Output: Delivers a concise brief covering who they are, relationship history, commercial status, recent comms, open items, and suggested talking points. - Use Case: Before a call with a prospect, ask for a prep brief and receive their role, past interactions, active deal stage, outstanding requests from recent emails, and three to five talking points tied to your strategic priorities. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to prep you for your meeting with a named person or organisation, for example by saying "prep me for my meeting with Sarah at Acme Corp this afternoon".

FAQPage Schema
How do I prepare a meeting briefing from my notes?▼

Ask the assistant to prep you for a meeting with a named person or organisation. It searches your Obsidian vault for contact files, organisation records, past meeting notes, and related initiatives, then assembles a structured brief with talking points.

What information does a meeting prep brief include?▼

The brief covers who the person is, your relationship history, commercial status from your CRM, recent email and chat communications, open action items, and three to five suggested talking points tied to your strategic priorities.

Can meeting prep pull data from HubSpot or email?▼

Yes, if those tools are connected via MCP. It can search CRM records for deals and notes, read recent email threads, and scan chat mentions. Each source is skipped cleanly if unavailable, so one failure never blocks the brief.

What happens if no contact file exists for the person?▼

The brief notes that no vault file exists and uses whatever external sources provide. After the meeting, the assistant offers to run the add-contact skill so the person is captured in your CRM folder for next time.

Does meeting prep work without any connected external tools?▼

Yes. The vault is the primary source, so contact files, organisation records, initiatives, and past meeting notes alone produce a useful brief. External tools like email and CRM only add supplementary context when wired up.
