Matrix Nuke locates and prioritizes dead code and code hygiene problems across a repository so teams can reduce technical debt, shrink maintenance surface area, and avoid regressions from unsafe removals.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Deterministic structural analysis: Detects dead exports, orphaned files, and unused imports using the Matrix code index with a Grep fallback.
• Dependency and cycle checks: Identifies unused npm packages and import cycles and cross-references package.json and config files.
• Generative AI inspection: Flags unnecessary comments, commented-out code, console.log leftovers, duplicated code, and stale TODOs with confidence scoring and triage.
• Safety-first reporting: Applies explicit safety rules, respects .nukeignore, treats entry points and framework conventions as filtered, and supports scan/safe/aggressive modes.
