This skill provides a unified, Docker-based development environment orchestration for the machina-meta workspace, enabling consistent startup, health monitoring, and data-management workflows across multiple services.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Workspace orchestration: Start, stop, and monitor the full dev stack (frontend, backend, catalogs, databases) with a single command.
• Health and status automation: Automatic health checks and status reporting for all services, with snapshot-based restoration of critical components like Qdrant embeddings.
• Volume and data management: Manage persistent data volumes, backups, and restores for PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Redis, and Qdrant, ensuring data continuity across restarts.
• Developer tooling integration: Integrates with gcloud-admin, gateway tooling, and observability stacks to streamline development workflows.
• Use Case Example: A developer starts the full stack with one command, validates health, then iterates on backend changes while preserving data.

Quick Start

From the workspace root, run just dev-up to start the full stack, then use just dev-status to verify health, and finally run just dev-down when finished. You can also selectively target services (e.g., just dev-status, just dev-down) as part of daily development rituals.
