CommunityCreate and manage LogSeq whiteboards in EDN
System Documentation
What problem does it solve?
LogSeq users often face hurdles when programmatically creating and maintaining whiteboard diagrams in EDN format within their graph. This skill provides a repeatable blueprint to generate whiteboard pages and shapes and keep bindings consistent.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Create new whiteboard EDN files in the whiteboards/ directory.
- Add shapes (text, box, ellipse, line, polygon, etc.) to whiteboards with proper EDN syntax.
- Manage UUIDs, timestamps, and shape indexing to maintain reliable LogSeq bindings.
- Integrate diagrams into the LogSeq graph for templates, automation workflows, and diagram libraries.
- Use cases: programmatic diagram templates, reusable diagrams, and automated whiteboard generation for knowledge workflows.
Quick Start
To create a new whiteboard, add a new EDN file under whiteboards/ with a unique UUID in the :block/uuid and the same UUID as the page :id inside :logseq.tldraw.page, then populate the page and shapes following the EDN structure described in the Skill guidelines.
